F&D Cartier
WAIT AND SEE, 1998 to present

About

Visual artist duo F&D Cartier live and work in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland. They merged their practices in 1995 –plastic arts & photography- to move toward new approaches, initiating the on site installations work Wait and See, photographic works produced without camera or dark room or chemicals.

We do question the role of the artist & of the Image in today’s society.

F&D Cartier

E       Visual artist duo F&D Cartier live and work in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland. Examining the indispensable prerequisites for photography - light and photosensitive materials – they mainly produce photographic works without camera or dark room or chemicals. Evolutional site-specific chromatic photo-based installations are created, left unfixed, a living process.

Daylight photograms, reinterpretation of original albumen glass plates are as well completed.
